Born and raised in Manila, they grew up in a loving and wealthy household—surrounded by comfort, structure, and high expectations. Summers were always spent in Siargao at their family home, where their love for the ocean began. Swimming lessons started early, and by 14, they were certified in free diving and joined their school’s swim team. They were spoiled but always grounded—raised with a strong sense of responsibility passed down from their father.

Struggling with an identity crisis about their chosen path, they took a one-year break from college to join a marine conservation program, convincing their parents it would help their future. Mostly, though, they just wanted to be close to the ocean. During their time with the program, they helped protect coral reefs, studied marine life, and learned the importance of preserving the waters they loved so much. It was the happiest and most fulfilling time of their life.

Their father comes from a long line of lawyers, and their mother is a well-known socialite from an influential family.
